Sunny Leone is a magical name for many youngsters in the nation. The Canadian born Indian-American actress came to the spotlight in India after being a contestant of Hindi tv reality show Big Boss hosted by superstar Salman Khan. In the year 2014, film maker Saravana Rajan brought her down south to Tamil cinema, and introduced her to the Tamil audience through a sizzling item number in his film Vadacurry. The actress got paired up with actor Jai for the hot number, “Low Aana Lifeu.” Apparently, despite a middling score the song became a huge hit and clocked millions of views in social media. Now, after nearly 9 years the actress is set to return to Kollywood with her debut lead role in OMG – Oh My Ghost. The movie is helmed by storyteller Yuvan of Sindhanai Sei fame. The entertainer, which went on floors a long time ago, has finally reached the finish line after many delays.
Recently the team arranged for a grand audio launch function in Chennai, and in that event the trailer of the film was launched. Now, the production unit has unveiled the trailer of the movie on social media. Actor Sathish has unveiled the trailer. The one-minute odd trailer cut opens in a deserted palace then cuts to actor Mottai Rajendran as a godman saying, “Today is a full moon day, and the queen will definitely come into the town. She is going to make every man run.” A character asks him, “God, when will she come?” Then we get a glimpse of a colorful number. We do get a few shots of the actress performing stunt sequences. OMG – Oh My Ghost is said to be a tale about an arrogant ancient queen. Earlier talking about the drama, storyteller Yuvan said, “OMG – Oh My Ghost will happen both in the ancient time and in the present. Actress Sunny Leone has done an amazing job as Queen Mayasena. I am confident here fans will definitely love watching her in the role.”
Besides actress Sunny Leone, OMG – Oh My Ghost has actors Sathish, Yogi Babu, Mottai Rajendran, Ravi Maria, Arjunan, Sanjana Singh, Tiger Thangadurai, Ramesh Thilak, G. P. Muthu, and Cook with Comali fame Dharsha Gupta playing various other supporting parts. The musical department of the flick has been handled by music directors Javed Riaz and Dharan Kumar. The cinematography division has been taken care of by cinematographer Deepak D. Menon. Editor Venkat Rajen has trimmed the drama. The movie is funded by Veera Shakthi under the production label Vau Media Entertainment and K Sasi Kumar under the banner house White Horse Studios.
On the work front, actress Sunny Leone who was last seen on screens in a special number in Motichoor Chaknachoor is currently busy shooting for a bunch of projects in multiple languages. The actress is shooting for her next Tamil venture titled Veeramadevi directed by storyteller Vadivudaiyan in which she will again be seen in a lead role, for a couple of her Malayalam ventures christened Shero under the direction of film maker Sreejith Vijayan, and for Rangeela helmed by director Santhosh Nair. Besides these projects, the actress has a Bollywood drama titled Helen filmed by Saurabh Choudhary, a couple of Telugu ventures Ginna helmed by Suryaah in which she will be seen alongside actors Vishnu Manchu and Payal Rajput, and Koka Kola filmed by T. L. V. Prasad, a Kannada project named Champion, and a hot item number in The Battle of Bhima Koregaon.
