The trailer of Selvaraghavan’s NGK one of the most anticipated films of the year is finally out and it promises to be a courageous action political flick. The two minutes of the trailer indicates that the film will be an electrifying intense political drama with some furious punch dialogues packed in. Suriya plays Nanda Gopalan Kumaran in the film whose father happens to be a military man. Sivakumar Vijayan has beautifully cranked the camera for the film which is evident in every single frame of the trailer.
Nanda Gopalan Kumaran seems to be an angry young man and his love for his country makes him despise the dirty politics. The trailer opens with a gathered crowd chanting NGK while Suriya is seen standing in a crowd. In the following sequence the actor delivers a punch, ‘Farmers who toils and sheds their sweat on this land and the laymen who strives for the sake of their country deserves to question the corrupt system.’ The second half of the trailer is packed with action scenes where the actor furiously delivers a couple of dialogues which reflects the mood of the youngsters in the Nation right now. Sai Pallavi as usual impresses with her charm while we do not get to see much of Rakul Preet Singh in the trailer.
The trailer of the film seemed to be quite different from the rest of the director Selvaraghavan’s films. We could not witness the classic raw Selvaraghavan’s strory telling touch in the two minutes cut trailer. But let us hope the flick will encompass all the Selvaraghavan’s quirky elements in it. Though the trailer of the film is not at the director’s best it has undeniably upped the expectations on the film further.
The film which is set to hit the screens on 31th of May has Telugu actor Jagapathi Babu in the antagonist role and actresses Rakul Preet Singh, Sai Pallavi, will be playing the female leads in the film while Mansoor Ali Khan, Thalaivasal Vijay, Ponvannan, Vela Ramamoorthy, Guru Somasundaram and Aruldoss will be seen in various other supporting roles.
