Versatile hero Suriya who was last seen in this year’s Pongal release Thaanaa Serndha Koottam co-starring Keerthy Suresh and directed by Vignesh shivn, which was the remake of Bollywood hit Special Chabbis had since then been busy with multiple projects, namely his 36th movie NGK directed by critically acclaimed maker Selvaraghavan and his 37th movie directed by his Ayan and Maattrraan director KV Anand.
While NGK has Suriya playing a politician, costarring Rakul Preet Singh and Sai Pallavi, it will have intense political scenes and dialogues and Suriya 37 has him playing a commando and costars Mohanlal, Arya, Sayyeshaa and many others.
Initially, NGK was supposed to release on Deepavali but the movie was postponed due to Selvaraghavan health issues and it was pushed to December.
However Surya is now in his clean-shaven NSG commando look for KV Anand movie and has to grow his beard for his NGK portions and hence it has been revealed that in order to avoid the clash with Pongal 2019 releases,
Thala Ajith starrer Viswasam and Superstar Rajnikanth- Trisha starrer Petta, NGK which has Surya playing Nanda Gopalan Kumaran MLA will is planned as a Republic day 2019 release.
