Gorgeous actress Tamannaah Bhatia was last seen on screens in the horror drama Devi 2 which hit the screens under the directorial of story teller A. L. Vijay. The horror drama was panned by the critics in the industry and as a result of which it did not do well in the box office as expected. But the actress has handful of films in multiple languages and is confident that she will navigate back to the winning zone. Now we have a piece of information on her next project.
We had reported earlier that the actress will next be acting in the horror comedy titled as Petromax, an official Tamil remake of super hit Telugu film Anando Brahma. We had also reported that the production unit is in plans to wrap up the project in a very short schedule and release it by the end of this year. As reported the movie which went on floors a couple of months ago has been wrapped up in no time and is now ready to make its way to the theaters. According to reports the venture is set to hit the screens in the month of September. According to a source close to the production unit, “The production house has plans to bring the entertainer to theaters on 13th of September. However, an official confirmation is still awaited.” The horror comedy is directed by story teller Rohin Venkatesan who had previously directed Adhe Kangal. The motion picture is bankrolled by Eagle’s Eye Production house.
The Telugu version of the drama which had actress Taapsee Pannu in the female lead role enjoyed a good commercial success. We will have to wait to see whether its Tamil version replicates the success that the Telugu version attained. The flick is about an NRI who desires to sell his haunted ancestral property to a good price. But due to the ghost stories revolving around the property he merely gets cheap proposals. In order to sell his property at a high price he comes up with a plan and hires a group of people who are in need of money to stay in the property to prove that his property is not haunted by any ghost. But when the group gets in to the property things takes unexpected turns.
Apart from actress Tamannaah Bhatia, the flick has actors Yogi Babu, Kali Venkat, Sathiyan, Veteran Mansoor Ali Khan, Munishkanth, Bugs, and Ramdoss portraying various other supporting roles. The music for the film is composed by musician Ghibran. Cinematographer Dani Raymond of Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada fame has cranked the camera for the film, while Leo John Paul will be editing the entertainer.
On the work front, actress Tamannaah is currently busy shooting for her untitled movie directed by Sundar C in which she will be romancing actor Vishal. Apart from this project the actress has two Telugu flicks getting shaped up in the post production That is Mahalakshmi and the Chireenjeevi starrer Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. The actress also has a Hindi venture titled as Bole Chudiyan in her pipeline.
