The one-minute odd trailer opens with a bunch of children held at gunpoint by what appears to be soldiers. A shootout begins. We have a bomb blast. Then we have the introduction of actress Trisha Krishnan standing in a room asking to herself, “If everyone is a king of their own country, why do kings need to be submissive?” Following which we see a police man threaten Trisha Krishnan, “You will get caught!” In the next shot, we witness the actress mouthing a punch dialogue, “To get a woman quivering, your manhood won’t do the trick. You got to be a whole package!” The trailer has actress Trisha Krishnan performing some action blocks. One can sense a freshness in the trailer compared to the films that the actress has done so far in her career. This has set high expectations on the flick.
Apart from actress Trisha Krishnan, Raangi has actors Anaswara Rajan, John Mahendran, Lizzie Antony, and Gopi Kannadasan playing various other supporting roles. The entertainer is bankrolled by Allirajah Subaskaran under the banner house Lyca Productions.
