Actor Vaibhav played a supporting role in his last outing GOAT – The Greatest Of All Time helmed by his buddy Venkat Prabhu with actor/politician Vijay and Sneha in lead roles. The Ranam Aram Thavarel actor is now getting ready for the release of his upcoming flick christened Aalambana in which he has donned the hero’s hat once again. Debutant story teller Pari K Vijay, an erstwhile assistant of R Ravikumar, has penciled and crafted the drama. Actress Parvati Nair of Enkitta Mothathe fame has been cast as the pair. The venture went on floors back in 2019 and has been under production since. It was slated to hit screens back in December of 2023 but at the last moment due to some financial tussle best known to the production unit it got postponed indefinitely.
The makers seem to have sorted out all the issues and have now announced a new release date for the flick on social media. Aalambana is poised to be out in theaters worldwide on 7th of March this year. Taking to their official X account, production house KJR Studios dropped a poster from Aalambana and captioned it, “The lamp has opened, and your favorite Genie is coming your way. The grand adventure Aalambana is poofing into theatres on March 7th, 2025 worldwide. Get ready for a magical joyride. Aalambana From March 7.” Here is the post made by the production unit.

The star cast of Aalambana includes actors Murali Sharma, Kabir Duhan Singh, Anandraj, Yogi Babu, Pandiyarajan, Kaali Venkat, Robo Shankar, Munishkanth, Praveena, Nakkalites Dhanam, and Dindigul I Leoni. Music composer Hiphop Tamizha has scored music for the drama. Two numbers ‘Eppa Paarthaalum’ and ‘Opening Song Ithu’ are already out from the album. Cinematographer Vinoth Rathinasamy has been behind the lens for the flick. Editor San Lokesh has been tasked with trimming the movie. Art director Gopi Anand has designed sets for the project. Stunt master Peter Hein has fashioned action moves. The project is funded by Kotapadi J Rajesh under the production company KJR Studios along with P Chandru and T Ezhumalaiyan for the banner house Koustubh Entertainments.
On the professional front, actor Vaibhav will next be seen on screens in the comedy heist drama Chennai City Gangsters directed by film makers Vikram Rajeshwar & Arun Keshav in which he has shared screen space with actress Athulya Ravi of Murungakkai Chips fame. Beside this venture, he has his long-delayed projects Perusu scripted by Ilango Ram in which he has featured alongside actors Redin Kingsley, Bala Saravanan, & Deepa Shankar, and Ace Raja Rani Jackie And Joker crafted by Anil Sunkara in which he has co starred with actors Shaam, Vimala Raman, and Sneha Ullal in the shelve awaiting release. On the other hand, actress Parvati Nair is awaiting the release of her next movie Unpaarvayil filmed by director Kabir Lal in which she has co starred with actor Ganesh Venkatraman, and Rubam helmed by Thamarai Selvan in which she has played the lead role.
