Actor Vamsi Krishna had his last outing in the likes of the action film Aattral which hit the screens under directorial director K L Kannan with actors Vidharth and Shrita Rao in the lead roles. The venture was tagged with negative reviews by both critics and audience. Thus, it had a poor commercial business. The Maan Karate actor has now put that behind him, and is getting ready for the release of his next Tamil drama titled Raakadhan in which he has played the lead part. Actress Gayatri Rema has portrayed a vital role in the film. Story teller Dinesh Kalaiselvan has penned and directed the flick. The movie which went on floors with a small pooja ceremony a while ago is now done and dusted ready to hit the theaters on 21st of July. Raakadhan will also be released in languages Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
The banner house has now dropped the trailer of the drama on social media. Saregama South has unveiled the trailer. Two minutes of trailer video opens to actor Nizhalgal Ravi informing actor Vamsi Krishna in a phone call, “Double murder has occurred in your jurisdiction. I have appointed you as a special officer to investigate the case. Join the force and report immediately.” Following which we witness the actor offering prayer, we have his voiceover, “One who lives with honesty will live in heaven.” Then a character briefs the case to him, “Double murder sir. They have beaten the victims to death like animals.” The scene cuts to the actor addressing the press, “Without worrying about slandering people, I cannot answer your speculations.” Then we have the introduction of actor Riyaz Khan, who enounces, “Welcome to my world of modeling.” Following which we have actor Nizhalgal Ravi’s voiceover, “When betrayal chases, it is hell.” We are presented with a few shots of actor Vamsi Krishna investigating. The shot then cuts to the actor mouthing, “Those who do not change their ill intent live in hell.” The trailer ends with a character saying, “As long as you have your youth, you can shine in the modeling field.” The trailer has had a decent reception among the audience, and has set high expectations on the movie.
