Actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar who ventured into Tamil cinema through Podaa Podi is now one of the busiest artists in South India with several projects in her pipeline in multiple languages including Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. The Tharai Thappattai actress was last seen on screens in a supporting role in Yashoda which hit the theaters under the direction of storytellers Hari Shankar and Harish Narayan with actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead role. The promotion materials of the drama managed to pique the interest of the audience, but the movie turned out to be a dud. Now the actress has moved on, and is gearing up for the release of her upcoming drama Vindhya Victim Verdict V3 in which she has essayed the lead role. The drama is directed by storyteller Amudhavanan. The flick which went on floors with a small pooja ceremony some time ago, has now been wrapped, and is in the post production.
Now, the production house has shared the trailer of Vindhya Victim Verdict V3 along with the release date on social media. Vindhya Victim Verdict V3 is set to hit the screens on 6th of January. Actor Radhakrishnan Parthiban has shared the trailer. The trailer of Vindhya Victim Verdict V3 opens with a voiceover saying, “There was a huge violation of humanity.” The visuals give us a glimpse of people protesting. Then we have Adukaalam Naren’s character enquiring, “You have labeled people who depend on forest and hills for a living as scheduled tribes. But why have you not added fishermen to the label.” We learn a murder has taken place. Caste angle is painted to the murder. Following it we have a dialogue, “Except for Tamil Nadu, show me a state with a name, or name of a town without caste connotation in India.” Vindhya Victim Verdict V3 is loosely based on three real life gangrapes and murders that took place in Hyderabad, Uttar Pradesh, and Kashmir. Actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar plays the role of a government official who is involved in the investigation.
Apart from actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Vindhya Victim Verdict V3 has actors Paavana, Esther Anil, Adukaalam Naren, Chandrakumar, and Ponmudi playing various other supporting roles. Music director Allen Sebastian has handled the musical department of the drama. Cinematographer Siva Prabhu has shouldered the camera for the flick. Editor Nagooran has been bestowed with the responsibility to edit the flick. Art directors Ramachandran and Abilash Johnson have designed the background for the flick. Stunt man Mirattal Selva has choreographed the action moves for the venture. The entertainer is bankrolled by Kameswararao Siddu, Vallam Vijayalakshmi, Siddu Anil Kumar, and Chandrakanth Duvva under the banner label Team A Ventures.
On the work front, actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar who was last seen on screens in Yashoda is currently busy shooting for her next Tamil ventures christened Sabari scripted by debutant story teller Anil Katz, for Pirandhal Parasakthi directed by Om Vijay, and for Colors crafted by Nissar. The actress is also busy shooting for her upcoming Telugu projects titled HanuMan helmed by film maker Prasanth Varma, and for Veera Simha Reddy filmed by Gopichand Malineni in which she will be seen alongside actor Nandamuri Balakrishna, and for her Kannada film Lagaam. Apart from these projects, the actress also has Pamban helmed by storyteller A. Venkatesh in post-production getting fine-tuned for release.
