Actor Vemal had his last outing earlier this month in the comedy drama Badava directed by K V Nanda with actress Shrita Rao as female lead. The Thudikkum Karangal actor is now getting ready for yet another release this year in Paramasivan Fathima. Director Esakki Karvannan, who has previously crafted films like Pettikadai and Tamil Kudimagan, has penned and helmed the film. Actress Chaya Devi Kannan, who worked with actor Vemal in Sir, has played the female lead role in the flick. The makers had recently released a promo video from the movie on social media, and had promised to unveil the trailer soon. As promised, they have now shared the trailer of the flick. Taking to his official X profile, actor Vemal himself dropped a poster from the entertainer along with a link to the trailer of Paramasivan Fathima and wrote, “Get ready to question everything Paramasivan Fathima Trailer TRENDING on YouTube!! Two minute trailer of Paramasivan Fathima begins in a spooky environment with a couple beating up a few people. The shot cuts to a police troop marching into a village. We have a voiceover, “Generally, a state or nation must have unique nature and culture.” It cuts to a person enquiring about a village named Subramaniapuram to M S Bhaskar, who plays a church father, he says, “They are very belligerent people.” He then asks, “How about Ekaanapuram?” M S Bhaskar replies, “They are well educated people. They are kind enough to even forgive their enemies.” We are then thrown a few glimpses of religious tensions between the two villages. We witness people of both villages fighting over a dead body as to how the last rites must be performed.
The casting crew of Paramasivan Fathima also includes actors M S Bhaskar, Athira, Seshvitha, Aruldoss, Manoj Kumar, Kadhal Sukumar, Sri Ranjani, Veerasamar, and Cool Suresh. Music director Deepan Chakravarthy of Veerayi Makkal fame has been trusted with the musical division of the entertainer. Cinematographer M Sukumar has been behind the lens for the drama. Editor Buvan will be overseeing the editing department of the flick. Art director Veerasamar has engineered sets for the film. Stunt master Dinesh Kasi has designed an action block for the venture. Paramasivan Fathima is backed by Esakki Karvannan himself under the production company Lakshmi Creations.
On the work front, actor Vemal will soon have his next release in the digital space through the web series Om Kali Jai Kali directed by story teller Ramu Chellappa in which he has collaborated with Big Boss fame actress Pavani Reddy. The Pogumidam Vegu Thooramillai actor is presently engaged in his future movies Desingu Raja 2 scripted by Ezhil in which he will be romancing actress Pujita Ponnada, and Belladonna directed by Santhosh Babu Muthusamy. Apart from these entertainers, the Thudikkum Karangal actor has three of his long-delayed films Sandakkari crafted by Madhesh in which he has co starred with actress Shriya Saran, Enga Pattan Sothu directed by Sargunam in which he has romanced actress Anicka Vikhraman, and Lucky helmed by Prasanth Pandiyaraj in the shelves waiting for release.
