Actor Vetri Sudley who garnered the attention of Tamil audience with his critically acclaimed films 8 Thottakkal, and Jiivi was last seen on screens in the action thriller Memories which hit the theaters under the directorial of Syam Praveen with actress Parvathy Arun as the female lead. The entertainer opened to mixed reviews from both critics and audience. Thus, it had a poor box office collection. The actor has now put that behind him, and is gearing up for the release of his upcoming Tamil Malayalam bilingual flick christened Bumper. Story teller M. Selvakumar, an erstwhile assistant of director Muthaiah, has written and directed the movie. The project which went on floors a while back with a small pooja ceremony was shot in and around the surroundings of Thoothukudi, Thiruvananthapuram, and Sabarimala. The movie is now wrapped, and is in the post production stage shaping up for release.
The production house has now unveiled the teaser of the entertainer on social media. Actor Arya has launched the teaser. Taking to his official twitter handle, the actor shared a poster from the drama along with the link to the teaser of Bumper and wrote, “Happy to release the teaser of Bumper.” Here is the post made by the actor.

One-minute teaser cut opens to an aerial shot of a church, and introduces actor Vetri Sudley who gets down from an autorickshaw. We see a police officer asking, “Who is Puli Pandi here? Tell me.” Then we witness the actor tuck a weapon into his waist, mask his face with a handkerchief, and get involved in a money grab theft. Following which we get a stretch of romance sequences. The shot then cuts to actor Vetri Sudley saying, “Everything is money. I need money. I will do anything for money.” The trailer ends with the actor mouthing, “I am not a rich man, but I know the importance of money. Me and my mother have suffered so much.” The teaser has gone viral and has clocked over a million views till date. It is said that the production house is planning to bring the film to the theaters for this year’s summer holidays. An official announcement regarding the same is expected to be made soon.
Bumper is touted to be based on Kerala bumper lottery tickets. The production unit had recently sent the flick to censor board for certification, and was labeled with a U/A certificate. Apart from actor Vetri Sudley, Bumper has actress Shivani Narayanan portraying female lead roles. Actor Hareesh Peradi has played a key part. The casting division of the drama has actors G P Muthu, Tiger Thangadurai, and Kavitha Bharathi depicting various other supporting roles. Music director Govind Vasantha has handled musical instruments for the project. Cinematographer Vinothrathinasamy has shouldered cameras for the venture. Editor Mu Kasi Vishwanathan has been bestowed with the responsibility to edit the movie. Art director Supender PI has designed the background for the drama. Stunt master Miracle Micheal has choreographed action moves for the flick. The entertainer is produced by S Thiagaraja along with T Anandajothi under the banner house Vetha Pictures.
On the work front, actor Vetri Sudley who had his last outing in Memories is currently busy shooting for his next venture christened Theenkirai directed by storyteller C Sivam Prakash Raghavadass in which he will be seen alongside actress Aadhira Panilakshmi, for Kannagi crafted by film maker Yashwanth Kishore in which he will be sharing screen space with actresses Keerthi Pandian, and Vidya Pradeep, for an untitled drama helmed by Ashraf in which he will be romancing actress Shilpa Manjunath, and for a project directed by filmmaker Shaams. Apart from these movies, the actor has Red Sandal scripted by director Guru Ramaanujam in which he has co starred with actress Diya Mayuri in the post production stage getting fine-tuned for release.
