Actor Vetri has a stellar reputation for picking up scripts with unique plotlines. In fact, he has built a career doing so. Irrelevant of their success or failure his reputation remains intact. The Red Sandal Wood actor had his last outing earlier this year in Pagalariyaan helmed by director Murugan with actress Akshaya Kandamuthan as female lead. He will soon have yet another release in the anthology drama christened Adharma Kadhaigal. Story teller Kamaraj Vel has written and directed the entertainer. Actresses Sakshi Agarwal of Cinderella fame, and Ammu Abirami of Asuran fame have headlined individual segments in the movie. It is officially announced that Adharma Kadhaigal will hit the theaters worldwide on 23rd of August.
The makers have now unveiled the teaser of the drama on social media. Taking to his official X profile, musician and actor G V Prakash Kumar dropped the teaser of Adharma Kadhaigal and wrote, “Best of luck team. Happy to release the Adharma Kadhaigal movie official teaser. Congrats to the team. Written, produced, and directed by Kamaraj Vel. One-minute odd teaser opens to a voiceover, “There is always a war going on between justice and injustice in this world. Always the rich and mighty subjugate the weak. If the weak hits back and exact revenge?” The teaser throws us a few intercuts of murders and violent sequences. Adharma Kadhaigal is hyped to be an anthology film with four shorts with revenge as its core theme. It is to be noted that Soori and Anna Ben’s Kottukkaali with P S Vinothraj and Kalaiyarasan and Nikhila Vimal’s Vaazhai with Mari Selvaraj is also slated to hit the screens on 23rd August.
Apart from actors Vetri, Sakshi Agarwal, and Ammu Abirami, Adharma Kadhaigal has actors Divya Duraisami, Sunil Reddy, Poo Ramu, Valavan, Sri Deva, Pooja Vaidhyanath, Dsr. Srinivasan, Thidiyan, and Dharshan essaying various supporting characters. Music directors A R Raihanah Shekar, S N Arunagiri, Harish Arjun, and Charan Kumar have collaborated to compose music for the entertainer. Cinematographers K K, M S Barani, Rajiv Rajendran, and Jebin Rejinald have been associated to crank camera for the flick. Editors Nagooran Ramachandran, Satesh Kurasowa, Mahendran Ganesan, and E Gopalakrishnan have worked together to edit the drama. Art director S A Raja has fashioned sets for the venture. Adharma Kadhaigal is produced by Kamaraj Vel for his production company Big Bang Movies. Yuvaraj of Blockbuster Production has bagged the theatrical rights of the project.
On the professional front, actor Vetri is awaiting consecutive releases in Iravu helmed by Jagadeesan Subu with actress Shivani Narayanan of Bigg Boss fame in the female lead part, and Aanmagan crafted by Maga Kanthan in which he will be seen alongside actress Krishna Priya. The Memories actor is currently busy shooting for his upcoming project titled Aalan directed by R Siva.
