Actor Vetri is quite popular for his choice of films in Tamil cinema. Budget constraints and technical eminence might be of question in his movies. But never the uniqueness of the story line. The 8 Thottakkal star was last seen on screens earlier this year in Pagalariyaan filmed by storyteller Murugan. He is now gearing up for yet another release in the anthology movie titled Adharma Kadhaigal. Storyteller Kamaraj Vel has penciled and helmed the drama. Actresses Ammu Abirami of Asuran fame and Sakshi Agarwal of Cinderella fame have essayed the lead role in different shorts. Adharma Kadhaigal is poised to hit the screens on 23rd of August.
Earlier this month the production team had released the teaser of the flick. Now they have dropped the trailer on social media. Taking to their official X profile, the production team unveiled the trailer of Adharma Kadhaigal and captioned it, “The action-packed Adharma Kadhaigal trailer is out now. Written, produced, and directed by Kamaraj Vel. Music A R Raihanah Shekar.” Here is the post made by the production house.
Two minutes long trailer of Adharma Kadhaigal begins with the voiceover of Vetri, “Some people would have done love marriage. But after marriage love disappears. However, in our home love was in abundance. Our lives were perfect and everything was going fine.” The scene then cuts to the character played by Ammu Abirami warning a few henchmen to leave her house. The second half of the trailer takes a serious turn and displays violent murders. Adharma Kadhaigal is touted to be an anthology movie made up of four segments with revenge as its core theme. The much-hyped Soori and Anna Ben’s Kottukkaali helmed by director P S Vinothraj, and Kalaiyarasan and Nikhila Vimal starrer Vaazhai crafted by Mari Selvaraj will also be hitting the theaters on August 23rd.
Cast of Adharma Kadhaigal has actors Divya Duraisami, Thidiyan, Valavan, Sunil Reddy, Sri Deva, Dsr. Srinivasan, Poo Ramu, Pooja Vaidhyanath, and Dharshan depicting various supporting roles. Music directors A R Raihanah Shekar, S N Arunagiri, Harish Arjun, and Charan Kumar have teamed up to score music for the project. Cinematographers K K, M S Barani, Rajiv Rajendran, and Jebin Rejinald have collaborated to operate camera for the venture. Editors Nagooran Ramachandran, Satesh Kurasowa, Mahendran Ganesan, and E Gopalakrishnan have worked in tandem to bring coherence to the movie. Art director S A Raja has designed background for the drama. Adharma Kadhaigal is bankrolled by Kamaraj Vel under his home label Big Bang Movies. Yuvaraj will be presenting the film under his production company Blockbuster Production.
On the work front, actor Vetri will soon have consecutive releases in the likes of Iravu crafted by director Jagadeesan Subu in which he has romanced actress Shivani Narayanan of Bigg Boss fame, and Aanmagan directed by Maga Kanthan in which he has co starred with actress Krishna Priya. Currently, the Bumper actor is engaged in his next film christened Aalan helmed by R Siva.
