Nearly two minute trailer cut opens to a voiceover, “Aravind cannot see what we can see in normal brightness. Aravind can see only when there is more light and brightness.” In the visuals we witness a group of henchmen waiting to attack Vikram Prabhu. Then we have another voiceover, “A huge elephant is tied up to a post using a small rope. If the elephant wants it can free itself from that knot is a jiffy and walk off. But it won’t even attempt to do that. Guess why? Because as a calf, it believed that it can never break free from that rope.” The trailer has gone viral, and has engendered high expectations among the audience. Earlier talking to a leading daily about the drama, film maker Karthik Adwait stated, “Paayum Oli Nee Yenakku is about a common man who gets embroiled in a lethal problem. The character he exhibits to resolve the issue is where the entertainer will stand out. The project is not just another commercial drama. It has more layers to it. We have put a lot of effort in shaping the lead characters. Even the antagonist part will be powerful. I am confident the audience will have a great experience watching the venture.”
