Kennedy John Victor, the actor who is known for his sheer hard work in the industry set foot in Kollywood in 1990 through the film En Kadhal Kanmani, which went unnoticed. It took nearly 9 years for the actor to announce himself as an established name in the industry. It was director Bala’s Sethu that gave him the opportunity to do so. From then it was all double positives for the actor who has delivered many hit films such as Pithamagan, Anniyan, Raavanan and has bagged National award for his role in Pithamagan.
The actor who was last seen on screen in Saamy Square had to face a lot of negative reviews, criticism and trolls from the critics and even from audience. The actor who is currently busy shooting for his film Dhruva Natchathiram under the directorial of director Gautham Vasudev Menon starring DD, Ritu Varma, Aishwarya Rajesh is said to have wrapped up shooting for Kadaram Kondan. The look of the film attracted a lot of attention from the audience. The film is now gearing up to hit the screens in the month of May 2019.
Director Rajesh M Selva who made his debut through the film Thoonga Vanam starring Ulaganayagan Kamal Hassan and Trisha Krishnan is directing the film. Recently, the director has given a status update about the film. The director has stated that the film is nearly done and little Vfx works are still in process. He also stated that they are planning to release the film in May.
The film is said to be an action thriller where the actor will be seen in a police role. The actor was last in the police get up in Saamy Square which was a heavy slump in the actor’s career. But in the first look of Kadaram Kondan the actor looked dashing donning a salt and pepper look, seems like the actor has worked hard twice to reinstate his image that he lost in Saamy Square donning a police officer character.
Apart from actor Vikram, the film has Akshara Hassan, daughter of actor Kamal Hassan in the female lead role along with actress lena. The film is bankrolled by Kamal Hassan under the banner Raaj Kamal Films International. M. Ghibran who composed the music for Thoonga Vanam will also handle the musical instrument for this film. The film is trimmed by Praveen K. L while Srinivas R Gutha will be behind the camera.
