Actor Vishnu Vishal who had been down with controversies for a long time, is back and running with half a dozen of projects under his belt. The Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu actor was last seen on screens in the sport drama Gatta Kusthi which hit the theaters under the direction of story teller Chella Ayyavu with actress Aishwarya Lekshmi in the female lead role. The entertainer was bestowed with mixed reviews, and thus had an average business. The actor has now moved on, and is gearing up to ink his signature for the sequel of his film FIR. The flick which hit the theaters last year was directed by storyteller Manu Anand with actress Reba Monica John in the female lead. The entertainer did not live up to the expectations of the audience, but had a decent commercial success.
Now, the production unit has officially announced that the project will have a sequel. Actor Vishnu Vishal himself has shared the news on social media. Taking to his official twitter page, the Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaaran actor tweeted, “FIR 2. Soon!” Here is the post made by the actor.

Vishnu Vishal had essayed the role of a youngster hailing from a Muslim community who comes under the radar of cops headlined by Gautham Vasudev Menon. FIR did end with a room for a sequel, and many, at the time of its release, had speculated a sequel for it. Now, it turns out they were right. It is also worth noting that the actor is also cooking up sequels for his blockbuster dramas Ratsasan and Indru Netru Naalai. Many sequels are being discussed in k town at the moment, and it looks like actor Vishnu Vishal has joined the party early. There is news that the production house is currently busy shortlisting the cast and crew that will be part of the sequel. An official announcement regarding the same is expected to be made soon.
Besides actor Vishnu Vishal, the first installment of the film had actors Gautham Vasudev Menon, Reba Monica John, Raiza Wilson, Manjima Mohan, Parvathi T, Praveen Muthurangan, Amaan, Gaurav Narayanan, Ram C, Abishek Joseph George, Maala Parvathy, Chandru BCS, R N R Manohar, Prashanth Rangaswamy, Vignesh Vijayan, R Shyam, Amaan, and Jay Aditya portraying various other supporting parts. Music director Ashwath had composed the music for the drama. Cinematographer Arul Vincent had shouldered the camera for the project. Editor Prasanna G. K had trimmed the entertainer. Art director Indulal Kaveed had erected the sets for the drama. Master Stunt Silva had choreographed the action sequences for the movie. The venture was produced by the actor himself along with Shubhra, and Aryan Ramesh under the production company Abhishek Pictures.
On the work front, actor Vishnu Vishal who had his last outing in the likes of the action thriller movie FIR will next be seen on screens in the crime thriller titled Mohan Das crafted by director Murali Karthick in which he has shared the screen space with actress Aishwarya Rajesh, and Idam Porul Eval directed by story teller Seenu Ramasamy in which he will be seen alongside actor Vijay Sethupathi. The Silukkuvarupatti Singam actor will soon begin to shoot for a couple of sequels of his superhit projects Ratsasan which is set to be directed by filmmaker Ram Kumar, and for the sequel of his science fiction movie Indru Netru Naalai filmed by S P Karthi. Apart from these films, the actor has his long-delayed flick Veera Dheera Sooran which is helmed by Shankar Dayal in the box waiting to see the light of day.
