Actor R. K. Suresh who began his career in Tamil cinema as a producer turned actor with his antagonist part in director Bala’s Tharai Thappattai. His performance had a great reception among the audience. The success of the movie brought many projects his way. After playing villain in a handful of films, the actor turned hero through Billa Pandi which hit the theaters under the direction of film maker Raj Sethupathy. Unfortunately, the entertainer did not do well at the box office. Now, the actor is currently gearing up for the release of his next crime thriller titled Visithiran. The project is slated to hit the screens on 6th of May this year.
The production house has been promoting the movie in full fledged. As part of promotion, actor R. K. Suresh has started a countdown on his twitter handle for the release of the venture, and a 40 feet cutout of actor R. K. Suresh has erupted outside Sathyam cinemas. Now, the production unit has unveiled the trailer of the flick on social media. Taking to his official twitter account, actor Vijay Sethupathi shared a poster from the flick along with a link to the trailer of the film, and wrote, “Happy to share Visithiran Trailer. Nanban R. K. The almost two minutes short, opens with a murder scene where two people have been hacked to death. Police have arrived at the spot, and are on wait, instead of beginning the investigation. Turns out they have been waiting for a retired police constable named Maayan played by R. K. Suresh. We witness a chain of accidents. Maayan figures out that the accidents are not natural but are planned and orchestrated. He guesses that the motive behind the accidents is not to kill people but for something else. From the trailer we can gather that people in a particular locality are perfectly planned and murdered through accidents. Maayan is out there to find out the reason behind the murders. The trailer is suspenseful and looks damn intriguing. Appears one can expect for a gripping suspense crime thriller.
The drama is an official remake of superhit Malayalam drama Joseph which had actor Joju George in the lead role. Director M. Padmakumar has helmed the drama. Writers Shahi Kabir and John Mahendran have penned the dialogues for the flick. Apart from actor R. K. Suresh, the film has actress Poorna playing the female lead role. Apart from them, the casting of the film has actors Madhu Shalini, Bagavathi Perumal, Ilavarasu, George Maryan, Anil Murali, G. Marimuthu, Ravi Venkatraman, and Pondy Ravi essaying various other supporting roles. Cinematographer Vetrivel Mahendran has been behind the camera for the flick. Music director G. V. Prakash Kumar has composed the music for the film. Editor Sathish Suriya has taken care of the editing department of the movie. The entertainer is bankrolled by director Bala for his production house B Studios, along with Siva Sekar Kilari under the banner house Shark Pictures.
