Actor Yogi Babu is one of the busiest and most sought-after stars of Tamil cinema with more than a dozen of projects in his pipeline. Both as lead hero and sidekick. The Boomer Uncle actor was last seen on screens last month in the black comedy drama Jolly O Gymkhana crafted by Sakthi Chidambaram with actor Prabhu Deva in lead. He is now gearing up for yet another release in the upcoming movie Kuzhanthaigal Munnetra Kazhagam. Veteran actor Senthil has played a pivotal character in the entertainer. Storyteller N Shankar Dayal, who had previously delivered Saguni, has written and helmed the film. The makers are currently working to lock a release date for the movie. An official announcement regarding the same is expected to be made soon.

One-minute odd teaser of Kuzhanthaigal Munnetra Kazhagam opens to a voiceover, “What will happen in our nation if we say there is no need for elections?” We witness students of a school preparing for school elections. There is a satirical dialogue mocking contemporary politics in the nation, “We are going to sell electoral bonds, collect money, and win in the election.” With a shot of a couple of students relishing ice cream, a quip follows, “Is the fund for election or ice cream?” In a scene we witness Senthil saying, “If we avoid election, those who should be avoided by us will rule over us.” The teaser ends with actor Yogi Babu expressing his gratitude on being elected, “I thank the people for electing me as their president.”
Apart from Yogi Babu and Senthil, the cast of the film also has actors Imayavarman, Saravanan, Advaith Jai Masthaan, Harika Peddada, and Bhavas in various supporting roles. Music director Saadhaga Paravaigal Shankar has composed music for songs. While musician John Robins has scored music for background track. Cinematographer J Laxman has operated cameras for the venture. Editor Richard Kevin has been engaged to edit the entertainer. Art Director C K Mujabir Rahmaan has erected sets for the drama. Action director Sudheesh has choreographed action moves. Kuzhanthaigal Munnetra Kazhagam is produced by Arun Kumar Sammantham partnering with N Shankar Dayal under the banner house Meenakshi Amman Movies.
