Actor Yogi Babu is one of the busiest actors of Tamil cinema at the moment with more than two dozen projects in his pipeline. The Kolamavu Kokila actor had his last outing in the likes of the horror comedy movie Ghosty which hit the screens under the direction of storyteller Kalyaan with actress Kajal Aggarwal in the lead role. The venture did not live up to the expectations of the audience, and thus had a bad commercial business in the box office. The actor has now put that behind him, and is gearing up for the release of his next film titled Yaanai Mugathaan in which he has played the lead part. Director Rejishh Midhila has penned and directed the flick. The venture which went on floors a while ago with a small pooja ceremony is now wrapped, and is ready for release.
Now, the production house has unveiled the trailer of the drama on social media along with the release date. Yaanai Mugathaan is all set to hit the theaters on 14th of April. Actor Ramesh Thilak has shared the trailer. Taking to his official twitter account, the actor dropped the trailer of Yaanai Mugathaan, and wrote, “Here’s the trailer of my next. Yaanai Mugathaan releasing April 14th.” Here is the tweet made by the actor.

The two minutes short video opens back to the camera shot of Yogi Babu and a boy who asks him, “How many gods are there in this world?” A perplexed Yogi Babu replies, “To find out how many gods are there, we have to find out how many castes are there.” The boy asks, “Did respective gods invent respective castes?” Yogi Babu responds, “Can I tell you a story to help you understand.” The Boys retorts, “Tell me. But without an interval.” We have the voiceover of actor Vijay Sethupathi, “This story happens on a street in India. There I have a friend. His name is Ganesh.” We see both Yogi babu and Ramesh Thilak introducing themselves as Ganesan to each other. The trailer has gone viral, and has clocked more than a million views till date.
